Plumpton Public School

                School Leaders 2009

The school leaders at Plumpton Public School have been given many tasks, which they take very seriously for example:

•   Public speaking at assemblies - Acknowledgement of     Country and  other announcements                            
•    Anzac Day and other important ceremonies.
•    Making sure the flags are raised and lowered.
•    Helping with the Kindergarten transition to school.
•    Microphone, bell and other office duties.

All eight of our leaders attended a Leadership seminar at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. They met many other school leaders from schools all over NSW. They listened to celebrities and role models from all over Australia talk about their ambitions and goals in life, how they got to where they are today.

They also have regular meetings with the Deputy Principal regarding their duties, concerns and other matters involving the school and the community. As leaders they are happy to give up their own time for any extra curricular activities.
