P.E.C  Plumpton Educational Community

The Plumpton Educational Community (PEC) is made up of six schools, Glendenning Public School, Hebersham Public School, Plumpton High School, Plumpton House School, Plumpton Public School and William Dean Public School. PEC was formally established in 2006 and in a very short time has been successful in developing a strong culture of connections amongst its six schools and with the local community.

The Plumpton Educational Community works to optimise educational advantages which are available through:

  • the synergies that exist between the six schools
  • the establishments of effective shared practices
  • a commitment to innovation, excellence and responsiveness and
  • development of a strong identity within the broader community

In less than 2 years of its operations, the commitment, energy, enthusiasm and expertise of the members of PEC have ensured a most remarkable transformation in which shared educational practice has become embedded into the ongoing life of each school. The activities of PEC are based on 5 priority areas, curriculum, professional learning, major events, student development and school alignment.
